Re: BSR without a heat ring?
Thanks - It is really identical in size, weight, etc to my BSR 3 - just no heat ring. I'm wondering if anyone else made skillets with a similar handle and numbers?

I have a number 7 Griswold LBL with the button logo lid. I have a couple number 8s (Wagner and Favorite) and a 9 nickel plated Wagner. I would love to get a 6!

Value Wagner Pie Label
I picked up a nice little number 3 pie label a few months back so I'm on the lookout for bigger sizes too (wishful thinking!). Anyway, today I did a random check of Ebay and there is a 13! Looks to...

Re: Gate Marked Cast Iron Pans
I found a number 8 gate marked with a fancy handle at a junk store, under a pile of other cookware and not with any of the cast iron they were selling. It was cheap enough so I bought it and now...

Re: When Looking on Ebay, How Do I Spot Fakes?
I'm not sure about the Northeast. At least for me, I've found very little cast iron available and when there is, it's unreasonably priced. There is a Griswold 8, nothing special, on Craigslist...

Re: When Looking on Ebay, How Do I Spot Fakes?
Hi there Sid. I am still a "newby" to buying but I've been using for a lot of years (hand me downs). I purchased a couple pans from EBay trying to complete my Mom's collection and both times was...

Re: Healthy Disk for Seasoning
I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but does that mean I shouldn't use this for pans I intend to use? I'm a little confused. The ingredients are canola oil, coconut oil, beeswax. Thanks again...

Healthy Disk for Seasoning
Has anyone ever used this for cleaning/seasoning? It says it is a combination of organic non-gmo coconut/canola/bees wax. I'm just curious if any of you have tried it, what did you think?
