Welcome! An e-tank is probably your best bet. If you have a severely cruddy piece, you might want to think about a lye tank to remove the majority of the gunk.

Alex A, when you boil tea, it creates a protective surface onto the tea pot that prevents it from rusting. I don't know how long it lasts, but the Chinese have been making tea in cast iron pots for...

Help ID'ing Griddle

I just bought a round griddle that is unmarked. It has Made In USA at the top and NO. 8 HG 9 1/8 IN on the bottom. My guess is a BS&R. If so, what does the HG stand for? BG was breakfast griddle....

JLenzo, I have a BS&R Chef Skillet. It has Chef Skillet in the top and Made In USA and 9H on the bottom. This skillet looks identical to yours except for the text.

Cast Iron works on all types of stove tops that in aware of. If it is a glass top, be carefully not to scratch the surface by dragging or dropping the cast iron on it.

Goodwill of North Georgia isn't accepting anymore items after this weekend. Their warehouses are full.
