I found a glass version with a reference to possible cast iron version earlier.

I looked around and I can not find any examples of this corn stick pan, anyone know possibly who produced this pan and approximate age?

ok, you are right, it appears to be part of the top griddle but it is a handle from underneath. How was a sad iron heater used?

After soaking for 5 days in a 5 gallon bucket with lye, wow, what a difference and easy. I did end up using tying bailing twine to the handles. That worked well.

Interesting enough after cleaning these, one pan has "7S 26" mark and the other doesn't. The "7S 26" is a BSR mark, but the second pan looks the same only missing the marking.

I seasoned three cornsticks and on each of them have some black on them. Any thoughts of what I did wrong? I used bacon grease to season.
