Re: More Restorations As Promised

If I could find them. I have a skillet and a dutch oven and that is it at the moment. I don't buy online so I have to go with what I come across. I am sure there are more in my future.

Re: Martin Camp Oven #14

That is a nice piece. Looks like it will clean up well. You would cry If I told you what I paid for the six. It is small so they shouldn’t charge much was their philosophy. Nice find and enjoy...

Re: Think I Found a Rare One

My brother, who got me in to collecting and restoring, tried to lay claim on it as well. I am not sure I will be parting with this one any time soon. He is convinced I am going to trade for it, but...

Re: Need Help with Identification.

From what I can see the bottom looks like early lodge for sure. Not sure it is a match though. I have never seen that keltic/lotus looking design. Lodge did do a raised 8 on the lid and my old lodge...

Think I Found a Rare One

I have a #12 Martin camp oven that I inherited from my wife’s grandma and I have never seen another one in the wild. When I saw this #6 I was shocked. I tried to find another mentioned online...

Finally Got Some Resto’s Finished

Hey everyone,
I finally got around to finishing some great pieces. There is a small “cold pour” if that is what it is called, on the Erie. Other than that it is mint. Thought I would share.
Enjoy!...

Griswold Cornstick 283/931

Hello everyone,
I have never seen this pan before. It is huge!! It is on sale now for $30. Not sure if it is worth it. I usually pass on cornstick pans, but with a little peer pressure I might go...

Re: Griswold and Wagner Toys

Thanks Doug,
I have seen a few variations online. Some with marking on the bottom. Is there one that is more rare than the other?
Thanks

Re: New Mexican Red Chile Stew

I would also suggest trying a Mexican Style meat market/ butcher for the purée.

Doug,
I believe it to be the shoulder. Darker meat with a bit of marbling. The long cook makes it more tender. We...
