Doug speaks the truth.. Any time I think I know it all, I'm quickly humbled by an unmarked piece with characteristics I've never seen before. Might be the font on the size number, the handle, or...

Re: Seasoning a Muffin Pan, Help.
I've done a quite a few corn stick pans, and a couple waffle irons. I I wipe it on thick with a small section of sackcloth towel, then use Q-tips to wipe off the excess in the harder to get to...

Re: Lodge 3 Piece Bakeware Set 3BA2 (Boxed)
Glad I bought it.... Hmm That's a hard one. It's now another piece in my collection I didn't have before. Would I sell it along to someone or clean it up and gift it to a family member who I...

Re: Lodge 3 Piece Bakeware Set 3BA2 (Boxed)
That's my set. That's exactly the way I bought it. I believe I paid $7 for it at a flea market. I would have liked for the box to be in better shape, but that's how it goes.

America's Test Kitchen is a pretty darn good recommendation. They test everything nine ways from Sunday.
I've read both positive and negative things about it, but I have yet to try it.

If you're hitting the Goodwill, Salvation Army, stop... Rarely if ever there is anything there. You need to find some good independent thrift stores.

Re: Local find: Griswold #3 thru #10 collection
Hahaha... Until you spot a yard sale with some iron, a Craigslist ad that looks "interesting", or a neighbor who is getting rid of some rusty skillets.
To me, I would say that half of the fun of...
