So I have been looking for a camp oven and found this at the right price (free). It cleaned up real nice. The interior is not machined smooth but better than the new Lodge DO's.

So is this...

Re: Some Auction Finds

So that's what it's called (Nuydea)? My dad has one of those lids on a chicken fryer but I don't recall the fryer having that angular handle... I'll have to check it out next time I'm there.

Re: Odd Deposits in Pan

The black deposits on the side is built-up but the shiny stuff on the bottom is not. Is there a simple swab test you can get for lead?

Smile Re: Griswold 885/886 Waffle Iron

That's exactly what I was thinking. Look at the wear on the ends of the "handles". Now that's some fine redneck engineering!

Re: Favorite Piqua Ware Skillet on Ebay

I have a #9 with the Piqua Ware on the same line as well. It's my favorite large pan to cook in! It still had the rummage sale sticker on it when my dad gave it to me... $9.50. Knowing my dad he...
