Very cool idea of showing the progression through the cleaning process. I did it once with a #14 Griswold, but didn't show as much detail in the photos. Nice job.

Lodge Wildlife Series DOG Skillet

Just finished restoring this Lodge Setter Dog skillet. It's from their 1990s Wildlife Series. I'm usually not that interested in newer pieces, but I understand that this is a very hard piece to find....

Thanks Ed. They all are in great shape and sit incredibly flat for pans of this size. I will be cleaning and re-seasoning them this spring or summer.

You really only need 1 layer to provide protection from rusting. You will add seasoning with use. I do 2 or sometimes 3 layers to darken them a little more. that is strictly for cosmetics to resell.

It's a boot jack. Anchored to the floor and you hook the heel of your boot in the antenna and pull your boot off. I've had several of these. Use one now as a door stop in my shed, lol.
