heck thats in good shape. A few of mine looked worse than that and I stuck them on the front burner. With regular use frying bacon, sausage, and burgers those pits will be hidden until next time...

Thatís a possibility I didnít think about. I just canít get why somebody would take the legs down that far and not remove them as well as the gate Mark.

It’s not enamel. It was lime scale. The CLR wouldn’t have fizzed on enamel like it did.

I doubt it. They were just long enough to take the gatemark off the cook surface. Someone did a good job if they removed them. I would think if someone was going to go to the trouble to shorten...

The pot was in the tank for about 24 hours. Some pieces of the lime was starting to lift off. It would have taken a very long time for it all to have came loose.
