Majestic Broiler (on Combo Waffle Base)

here's an interesting one... there are marked 'majestic' waffle paddles that go with this set... the base can be used for either the odd hinged broiler or the waffle paddles (obviously not at the...

Re: Anybody Want to Take a Guess on This One?

I have one of the little wagner 'mercedes' pans... that would be a lot of modification to get the look of the #8 that I posted.

I'm stumped. At first I...

Re: No Notch Lodge?

that's a nice big old lodge, which could be preparing a lot of nice warm meals this winter rather than sitting in a rusty pile... I'm voting that you go ahead and clean it up and post pics. who's...

I'll start by saying that although it has an inset heat ring and 3 notches in the heat ring... it is NOT a lodge. Lots of oddities with this one.. size on top of...

Re: What is Largest Griswold Dutch Oven?

at various times they made plain lids (with no basting drippers) and slant lids (only marked on the inside of the lid), raised letter marked lids (these tend to be the most popular with collectors,...

Re: What is Largest Griswold Dutch Oven?

I would just add that some of the oval roasters also had the words 'dutch oven' on their lid... and I believe the #9 oval roaster was the largest size.

Re: Another #14

I don't personally collect the 'number in diamond' CHF pans... but if I'm not mistaken the 14 is a pretty 'hard to find' one... and they tend to sell for pretty high prices (a lot higher than 60.)

Re: 3 Notch Martin Hamburger Logo, with Original Label...

I was working on some other pans and it was just sitting there staring at me, looking all sad and neglected... so I rubbed around on the bottom with some steel wool and it started looking better......

Re: Single Notch Lodge #2/#3?

the '3' doesn't look right to me either... and lodge of that time period would normally have a raised molders mark, not any sort of incised markings...
I think someone copied a single notch lodge 3...
