HTF Griswold #12 New England Griddle

I was lucky enough to pick up this Griswold #12 New England Griddle. It looks like it was made in #s 8,9,10, and 12. I've never come across one in person before and was lucky enough to find the #12,...

Perfect. You did a nice job of cleaning it up while still preserving the label.

Re: Griswold 402 Gas Hot Plate

Looks good. I like the matte finish. I restored an ERIEZ Radiator once, but used the high heat paint.

Re: Picked Up Some of My Best Pieces Last Night

I bought most of the high-end stuff that I knew. There was a bunch more there and I might make a return trip.

Re: Griswold Hammered Waffle Iron

Thanks Sean. That Indian Head skillet is a #9. I have a #8 also. The #10 dutch oven, with fully marked lid and leveling nubs on the bottom is arguably the rarest piece I've ever had. Most, not all,...

Griswold Hammered Waffle Iron

I was fortunate enough to pick up this Griswold hammered waffle iron over the weekend. Probably one of my top 5 rarest pieces of iron to date.

Re: Preheat Cast Iron for Baking Pizza at Higher Temperatures?

I regularly make pizza in an old bottom gate marked #10 skillet. I leave it in 20 minutes at 450 degrees. I have never preheated the pan and have never had any trouble.
