Thanks for the post.....I dont buy really warped or cracked, but small flaws dont bother me for a user....I cook on a gas stove too, so maybe thats why a little movement doesnt bother me.

An example....a #9 Erie, with the hour glass or beer glass makers mark. It has a small crack in the side wall, but it doesnt go to the cooking surface. Im just carefull picking it up, and I rarely...

Im assuming its Pre Griswold too. The size may make it rarer due to the fact is kind of an off size. Not rare but not common either. Its nice anyways, Id use it.

I find Wagner Ware the most here in Central PA. I have the start of a set of them, just by running into the different sizes thru the years. Griswold was made in PA, but hard to find near me. Wagner...

Good point. Seeing as how they used others' molds most of the time. The Indian Head is one that they made, and I love it. I also love the flaws, as it makes them one of a kind. The full writing DO...

I have a few Wapaks that have those marks too....sometimes 1, sometimes 3....maybe a shift indicator? I always wondered that too.

I was just wondering why Wapaks always have a defect, which I like.....but were they a small operation, or just due to using used molds? I was just looking for any input....thanks!!

Interesting info, thanks. I am a Wapak guy for sure. I just always have liked the flaws that are in just about every Wapak Ive ever seen.....I guess I fell head over heels, lol....
