Ok then - change of plans. Tonight's seasoning run is going to be an eye roast surrounded by potatoes and carrots - in the oven at 325 convection roast :)
I'm putting it into service tonight....

Well I have to say the pan is coming along nicely ! I scrubbed out the inside and took off all the "blotches" and washed it out. In the oven it went to dry at 400. Crisco'ed it up good when it was...

It was actually hanging on that wire on about a 45 degree angle. Its not in there in that picture. The reason I did it that way was due to an error I made zip tying rebar - i drilled holes for the...

This is good to know. Just did my first one ever and inside the pan has the same thing, small amounts of uneven dried crisco. SMALL though. The outside looks GREAT.

Found my stainless rod ! ( if you saw my garage you'd understand what an accomplishment that is. ) it's solid SS 1/2" x 6'. I'd say I'm in business :icon_thumbsup:

There was some olive oil... Then as the party got going in went some butter :)
amazingly non stick I'll say that... That was the first go round with that pan for me. My Lodge skillets are so rough...
