Assist handles on large skillets are usually bisected loops (think DO bail attachment ear) or solid, flat tabs. On new Lodge, they're big, more like a loop handle from a enameled cast iron dutch oven.

Some are quick to link a raised size number on the top of a skillet handle to Lodge, but nothing else about this one is consistent with Lodge. I have seen this piece crop up from time to time, both...
