I'm wondering if a skillet - the ones where the sides gone down rather than up, would be good to use for a thin crust pizza. I'll have to try it. I'd imagine skillets would be good for deep dish.

Dutch oven with tube along side?
I came across a topless "Dutch oven" in a shop. On the side, it had a tube (hollowed out tunnel) running from top to bottom. Just curious as to what this was. Does anyone know?
