Heat up the solution to 160 for 30-45 minutes. Let the pan sit in it overnight.

Heat n Kleen is used in the concessions industry to clean the popcorn maker.

Soaking it in Full-strength vinegar has no noticeable improvement. Looks like Diabloís Carbon Kleen it is.

No noticeable improvement after 2 hours soaking in boiling soapy water. Going for round 2. Is there any danger of letting it soak in water even after the water has cooled? Can I leave it submerged...

My first attempt to clean is boiling water with dawn soap in the sink.
Do you really think all that crud will be loosened?
