Interesting Item. Copper Rivets?
Found this today. Light as a feather. Has any one seen something similar?
Before I stick it in the lye bath, should I have concern with the two rivers that appear to be copper?

Wagner 1059 Without “9”
I can’t seem to find other Wagner 1059 pans without the “9” on the top of the handle. Is this unusual?

I don't have a regular Favorite #7 to compare, but the dimensions didn't seem out of the ordinary. When I take it out of the lye bath, I will get measurements.

Sometimes You Have to Take a Chance.
$4 at a thrift store. Didn’t know what it was or if it had a wobble, but I had to take a chance.
That crud was 1/4” in places.

Lead in Cast Iron
I recently had a buyer do a lead test on a pan. Is this a good idea? Should I as a buyer start doing that? Is it even a good test if there is still crud in the pan? Is there other tell tale signs...

Doug, instead of it being a ghost mark, could it be that the plating material is thick enough to "fill in" the Favorite insignia? Or isn't it that thick?
