Need Help Identifying a Piece

I picked up about 25 pieces of iron at a auction the other day and two of them were fat free fryers. The one that I need help identifying is in the first two photos. The only markings on it are Pat....

Re: Sidney Rimmed Pot

This is one the very first pieces in my collection. Yours is the only other one that I have seen. Like Doug said, and from my research, they were probably made towards the end of production. ...

Re: Some Odd Raised Size Pans I Just Cleaned Up

Much smaller. It is almost identical in diameter to a number 4 Lodge that I have. Like I mentioned, it is a very heavy and rough casting. Yours looks much nicer in quality.

Re: Some Odd Raised Size Pans I Just Cleaned Up

I have always liked the boldness of raised numbers/letters. When I saw your #8, the extra makings looked familiar. They look a like the ones on a very poorly made #5 that I have....

My First Turk's Head Restoration

I would like to share my first Turk's head restoration. I have been collecting for about 2 years and have pretty much stuck to skillets only. Not long ago I came across a Griswold 240 and decided to...

Re: Griswold Turks Head Pans #140 and #240

I just picked up a Griswold 240, it's the first gem/muffin pan in my collection. I kind of took a chance on this one as I don't know much about them yet.
It sounds like I am in for a real treat...

Re: A Really Marked Lodge Skillet

I saw a Lodge pan marked like that at a auction not too long ago. I am curious about the markings as well.

Re: Recent Finds

Hi James, it took about three months to gather this stuff up. I'll go through the local resale shops about twice a week, and average 1-2 auctions a month.
In my short time collecting, I've come to...

Re: My First Post. PLEASE Help Smooth Bottom Vollrath??

The handle sure looks like a Vollrath. There should be a sideways size number at the 3 o'clock position, like this one that I found last year. I am not sure of the value. Oh, and welcome to the...

Re: Plated Piqua Ware

Thanks for the quick response. Before I started this thread I did some internet searching for plated Piqua and came up empty. The one that I saw today was in a showcase next to another small Piqua...

Plated Piqua Ware

Could any of the experts here tell me if Favorite Piqua Ware made any plated pieces? I spotted a #1 skillet this morning that is either chrome or nickel plated. I would really like to go back and...

Re: Some Auction Finds

I'll start by saying, my wife and I stood in a steady rain for a hour and a half at a old farm auction to bid on that #9 Lodge, then walked over 1/4 mile back to the car in a biblical downpour with...
