I use a 30 gallon blue barrel with the top cut off and flipped over for a cover.
All the blue barrels are HDPE and will not be effected by the lye.
Most times you can pick...

Re: Electrolysis Tank Repair.
For small pans a 5 gallon bucket will work.
The handle may stick out of the water but it's nice to deal with a smaller pail that you can move around.
For bigger items you might look for a 30 gallon...

Re: Griswold Cornstick 283/931
I picked up the Senior Wagner in FL just before everything shut down.
I gave $25 for it and passed on a Unmarked one.
I use it a lot because it used a whole box of Famous Dave's.

Re: Chainmail Scrubbing Pad
The Lodge plastic scrapers seem to work the best for me to remove most/all left in the pan.
After that a dishcloth to clean the rest.

Re: Indoor Lye Tank?
If you have a Exhaust fan just turn it on once in a while.
You have a lid so that will keep it safe from Pets.
