Can I get some help identifying these?
the skillet was a suprise as when i got it the crud was so thick i didn't know it was not smooth sided.
The chicken fryer might be Renfrow Ware?...

Wagner Arc Question
I have an old Wagner arc pan and it has an 8E at the 6 o'clock.
What does the E signify?
Is it a mold identifier or does it pertain to the finish of the cooking surface?

A friends mother runs the donation area of a local thrift store and when she heard i liked cast iron pans offered me this skillet and a few other imports.
Apparently if a pan is too rusty to sell...

Oops.... Vinegar Bath for Days
I washed the lid of a dutch oven off after cleaning it in the lye tank dropped it into the vinegar tank.
Pulled the dutch oven out.... found it was cracked.... and COMPLETELY FORGOT about the lid....

a #10 in diamond CHF, #8 National/Wagner, #8 maybe single notch Lodge?, and a #6 Wagner stylized logo.
I was pretty happy this morning as there doesn't...

The dough formed fine.... it was just the grain of the finished cookie was too bubbled to show any detail. I think something with a finer grain might work... I'll get back to you on that. :tasty:
