Lye Bath
I typically strip CI with electrolysis but was thinking of introducing an initial first step in a lye bath. Any benifits to the lye not achieved thru electrolysis?

It wasn't warped from the factory. It had the box opened and you could clearly see where it was heated in 1spot. The store sold like surplus, auctioned items, or maybe goods from a truck wreck so...

Lodge has a fairly new line out specifically called blacklock. It is different than their regular cast iron line.

What is Largest Griswold Dutch Oven?
I was trying to find something that listed all dutch oven sizes griswold made but couldn't find. Have seen sizes up to 14 with self basting lid. Is this the larges they made?

Thanks, i had seen that. I also think this is not considered a collectors skillet since no sidney O, correct? It is a smooth cooking surface, but is heavy.
