Curious if anyone has any information on this skillet? I thought I had seen one on the forum a while back but I couldn’t find the thread. Everything screams lodge to me but the stylized numbering and...

Re: New Restorations

Not much to the story. It was listed in my area with terrible pictures and limited information. I called the person up and went right over. I was shocked when I saw it because I thought it was just a...

Re: New Restorations

No. Mine does not have a two. and it is also not milled to a smooth surface like yours is. It is more of a rough casting. Doug linked some information on gate marked iron. It is not impossible to...

Re: Cast Iron Skillet

Hi J,
With so many different makers and marks out there we would really need a picture of the entire bottom of the skillet, including handle, and the entire top. Without that we won't be able to...

Re: Recent Restorations

Thanks Mike. I have used vinegar in the past and did not like it. I may need to revisit, especially for stubborn rust and stains. Happy hunting,

Re: Great Haul

The iron mountain is a number 8. I was hoping it was bigger when I first got the pictures, but another 8 it is. Perfect pan though. Should turn out flawless.
