Question About Lodge and Polished Interiors
 

can anyone fill me in on a rough timeline?
my son found an abandoned lodge 14sk with egg logo... tiny little spouts... but a very nice smooth polished cooking surface... I thought the egg logo was post 1987... so when did lodge stop polishing the interior and go with the 'as cast' finish?

also it had a lid marked 14... and it kind of works, but it doesn't seem to be correct for this skillet... doesn't fit very well... I happened to have an older 3 notch 14 with bigger spouts and it does fit that one better... any ideas on dating lodge lids to a time period?
