Once I figured out what the pan was, I knew I had to make them. The recipe is quite simple but unfortunately, I don't remember what website I got it from so I'm unable to credit the source.

2 eggs
2 cups of milk
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 1/2 cups of flour (all purpose)
1 teaspoon of salt

Beat the eggs until light and fluffy and add the milk.
Gradually add flour, salt and sugar.
Heat plett pan slowly to medium heat and brush with melted butter.
Stir batter well. There should be no lumps.
Add 1 tablespoon of batter into each indentation. Cook until golden brown.
Serve with lingonberry jam or your favorite jam or syrup. Top with powdered sugar & whipped cream.

If you want to make chocolate ones, substitute 1/4 cup baking soda for flour.

I think we started a new Saturday morning tradition here. They are really good. I may live in New England now but these strongly remind me of the "silver dollar pancakes" that we'd sometimes get on weekends at this place in Virginia when I was a kid.

Re: Pletts
Well, do you flip them like pancakes? Or just let them cook on the bottoms?
I'm not really into lingonberry, but I bet some nutella would be a good topping.

Re: Pletts
Flip each one, like a pancake, then, when done, turn the pan over to dump them all out at once.
