Can you ever so slightly use a press to get a slight bow out of the bottom? Iím hoping that the wider bottom of a #9 might let it flex a little bit but Iím scared it might break. Has anyone tried this, thanks

Cast iron is pretty brittle. It will most likely shatter before bending. Just my 2 cents.

Yes. Tried and broke. Used a heating torch and a shrink heating pattern.

Most likely 100% it will break/crack if you try and straighten it. If the warpage isn't too bad and you have a gas stove it's probably safe to use it for cooking or push come to shove use as a cornbread skillet or other types of cooking in the oven.

use it to sear steaks in so you dint ruin your good ones

I have a warped #( Wapak for frying peppers and onions, works great!
