Need Help Identifying Cast Iron Pan with Unique Handle and No Markings Except for a #

Hi everyone, I need help identifying cast iron pan with unique handle and no markings except for a # 6 at the base of handle ... Also asking estimated value if anyone knows? Thanks for your help in advance!!!

That's actually a number #9. Gatemarking sometimes indicates early 1900's or earlier, but no guarantee. It's almost impossible to assign a foundry to a piece like that - Doug might have more insight.
 
Flashing in holes of handles isn't all that uncommon, although one would think the size number would be a bit more defined. I would think if a recast it would have a second gate mark.
