Lodge Rectangular Roaster Pan
What are the dimensions of the Lodge Rectangular Roaster Pan from the three notch era? Did it have a cover? Does it differ from the #1FP Fish Pan, marked Made in USA? Thanks

Re: Lodge Rectangular Roaster Pan
There is no rectangular roasting pan (nor fish pan) in Lodge catalogs up through the 1950s. A 1968 catalog shows the Fish Pan as 12" x 20" x 3". No cover.

Re: Lodge Rectangular Roaster Pan
The information I have doesn't show the pan in any pre-1960s literature. If yours is 12x20x3, it was sold as the "fish pan". If the pattern was altered to add "Made In USA" at the same time as other Lodge pieces, it would tend to indicate a pan without it would be before the mid-1960s. The later 1FP2 does not have the forked divider in the handles, but when exactly they started making it is uncertain.

Ok, good to know. I should be getting the piece today or tomorrow, so I will have more information soon. My feeling is the forked divider is earlier. Thanks, Doug!
